no one cared anyway

people could’ve done something to change it all
but no one moved
all of them were too scared
to move an inch
little did they realize that if they united and worked together
they wouldn’t need any heroes
any superheroes
all they needed was their faith
but it was severely destroyed
nothing going
it’s all over
boom
kaboom

death, hunger, oppression, poverty, disease, suppression, repression
plagued the world
while the white lord and his cronies just got richer and richer
and the poor just got poorer
and the only way to do anything with your life
is to step on others
walk all over them
and/or to compromise your values and beliefs
and this is what people did
and the world went into a period of real darkness
the sun stopped shining the way it used to
the dark dark clouds that never rained gathered all over
they choked and hurt when you’d breathe them in
because they’d come so close to the ground
these clouds weren’t natural, no
there was no more heat, because the sun was blocked out
plants stopped growing
soon animals started dying, too
and the people didn’t have any food
but the rich did
they had their own places
where the sunlight would come in
or they’d manufacture their own artificial light
from the throngs and throngs of slaves that they kept
and they’d grow food, and eat
to their heart’s desire
and they’d throw out more than they would eat in a day
