silly putty (they quasi-toy) is pretty cool…

also, the smiths (eighties british musical band)

tho i’m not sure about the smashing pumpkins (what do they have against pumpkins? — i like pumpkin pie…)

(much thanks to princess leia for the introductions)

i just finished watching “no man’s land”

it is, simply put, one of the greatest movies i have ever seen

it puts “a beautiful mind” to shame

it puts every other movie i’ve seen in the past year to shame

wow

what are you waiting for?
GO WATCH IT
NOW

this video is hilarious, it’s a song by david hasselhoff
he’s knight rider .. and that guy on baywatch … or was anyway
he’s also an accomplished scandinavian pop star

(thanks to adnan)

my new favourite song, everlast’s rendition of neil young’s only love can break your heart:

when you were young and on your own
how did it feel to be alone
i was always thinking
of games that i was playing
trying to make the best of my time

but only love can break your heart
try to be sure right from the start
yes only love can break your heart
and if your world should fall apart

i have a friend i’ve never seen
he hides his head inside a dream
someone should call him
and see if he can come out
try to lose the down that he’s found

but only love can break your heart
try to be sure right from the start
yes only love can break your heart
and if your world should fall apart

– everlast/neil young

get breathless by shankar mahadevan — it’s hindi, but it’s amazing, he (seemingly) sings it all in one breath
wow
