i am liking the second dilated album, “expansion team” much more than the first

stand out tracks: worst come to worst (instant classic), night life (i love the intro music), hard hitters (ft. black thought of roots), war (which i think is a freestyle by rakaa, but even if it isn’t, it’s tite)

lately, i’ve been listening to a lot of 112
a disproportionate amount of it, actually

can’t say i don’t like it

i just got the first dilated peoples album

it’s all right

notable tracks: the platform, ear drums pop (because they have everlast on it), triple optics, and some other stuff

asianavenue pages are shit piles

they violate every rule of web design ever
— frames — gay little animated graphics all over the place — cramming a huge amount of information in as little a space as possible — among other common sense bullshitteries

not to mention pages upon pages full of pictures of dipshit entertainers — what good is that going to do?
look, i have rows and rows of pictures of puff daddy and biggie and mase and eminem (oh and let’s not forget the megagantic image of tupac) staring at me under the banner of SwT_AzN_MoRon_99273501 — who thinks she’s a hip hop head but has probably never heard of mobb deep

not one of them
can spell in proper english and has to type like an anal retentive from grade four

i’ve been watching some of these videos and i’m disappointed
mos def, talib, and them shouldn’t have booty shakin scantily clad women in their videos unless they’re making an expressed point
that’s what i’ve come to expect from them but that’s not what i see

i got the second album of jurassic 5 last night
but i wasn’t too impressed
the first is much better, in my opinion
hard to best your first try, i guess

thanks to dragon for re-introducing me to bone thugs n harmony, it’s not entirely my style (i’m more of the mos def, talib kweli, dilated peoples type)
but i’m impressed, the rapping is fast and in harmony
that’s incredible
good stuff

i rediscovered jurassic 5
i found myself getting their entire album last night
it’s amazing, incredible
i particularly love jurass finish first and contribution

there’s some leadership conference thing tomorrow that i’m going to (so i’ll be missing school’s late start and shortened classes, whoopee)
will see how it is

for some reason it takes forever for pages and msn messenger to load
