bah. The heck with the Greens. Stealing votes away from the NDP.

My prediction: We’ll elect another Liberal minority government, and end up back at square one. The voters as of right now do not have any reason to change their minds about either party.

The opposition simply gambled by bringing down the house. They dissolved parliament while the liberals are still ahead in the polls.

The problem with the Greens is that they are quite right-wing. If people think that the Greens are socieconomically progressive, then they are wrong.

If your only issue is the environment, then you should realize that most environmental groups (including Greenpeace) felt, in the last election, that the NDP’s platform is more responsive.

If you are socioeconomically progressive as well, then you should be voting NDP.

On the other hand, if you are economically conservative, but environmentally progressive, then you’re off with the Greens.
