we all know that parents want to help
but their meddling sometimes has adverse effects
parents really need to try to understand their children
instead of enforcing their own old-fashioned and sometimes blockheaded views on their children
the world has changed
the times have changed
the place has changed
arranged marriages just aren’t going to work anymore
enforcing religion as ritual instead of spirituality isn’t going to work anymore
misguided nagging, no matter how sincere, isn’t going to work anymore
