i’ve decided to post a lot of the poetry i’ve (all of a sudden) composed in the past few weeks
\ni never was a poet, but things do things to people…<\/p>\n

My first glimpse is forgiven,
\nBut who can blame me for taking so long,
\nLost in your eyes,
\nLost in this song.<\/b>

I used to search the star-lit sky,
\nSearching for beauty I never could find.
\nBut, girl, ever since I caught your eye,
\nI’ve since left the sky behind…<\/b>

Like honey trickling down the sweet smooth throat,
\nLike a nightingale’s precious song floating in the wind,
\nLike a sweet gentle whisper in the cold night breeze,
\nUnsung, your voice tugs at my heart.<\/b>

Every word you say
\nIs like a glimmering ray
\nOf beautiful and unwavering light
\nThat makes each and everything ceaslessly bright.<\/b>

Oh thief,

\nBut I feel not envious,
\nNor vengeful,
\nFor I desire you to have it.<\/b>

May a thousand good nights

\nNay, not even a thousand shall suffice,
\nMay they never cease . . .<\/b>

Oh, how she tugs at my heart,
\nShe’s not here, but she’s not far.
\nHer face glows in my memory,
\nIt robs me of all real sensory
\nPerceptions and leaves me dumbfounded.
\nSuch beauty and grace have left me confounded.
\nI must look for my heart, where has it gone?
\nHer tugging rewarded, with it, she has gone…<\/b>

A moment with her is worth an eternity —
\nYet an eternity with her would last but a moment.
\nThe sky seems to have left with her,
\nThe sun and moon seem to have lost their paths.
\nOh, but another look at her radiant face
\nWould be worth all the eyes on earth —
\nYet would all the eyes on the planet
\nBe able to take in such splendour?<\/b>
